Some fighter units explicitly state that they consider PCSM scores in the 90s to be competitive. They do not look at the sub-scores. As I mentioned before, this score is created by combining the pilot score of the AFOTQ test along with the test score of the TBAS test. With the AFOQT super score, you can’t bring your PCSM down from where it currently is. For USAFA, it's only required to have a qualifying PCSM score (I want to say it was 25, but don't quote me. Just got a pilot slot in 20OT02 with a PCSM of 43 (also with 0 flight hours). And if you think you can do better on the TBAS knowing what you know now, take it again. Definitely retake the AFOQT and try to get 90+ pilot if you want to shoot for guard/ reserve. This is on the super score. Flying is fun, and it's relatively cheap right now with fuel where it is. I read that the highest PCSM score without flight hours is around the low 70s but you need a high Pilot score to go with that.
